Make Your Kids Smart – Read Aloud To Them

I remember reading to my daughter from the time she was 2 years old, no matter how tired I was after a whole day’s work. That’s why this blogpost about reading aloud to your child just brought a smile to my face. It reminded me of warm snuggles while reading a fairytale to my daughter, and tucking her up afterwards.  I just kinda wished that I found this revolving bookcase sooner, I’m sure she would have loved it! She’s a little too old for it now that she’s already turned 18!

My daughter grew up loving books and I think my reading to her aloud when she was little had a lot to do with it.  Like the blog said, kids will benefit for sure, when their parents read to them because they become better learners in the future. You will find also that reading to your young kids is such a great bonding experience  and even a challenging one, because you have to do your best to make the story come alive in your child’s mind.

Finding the right books to read to your child isn’t that difficult either.  Just make sure that the language is easy to understand and that there are a lot of pictures that come with it. And of course, check out the ones that don’t just tell a story, but also teach a lesson that they’ll remember when they grow up.
