De-Cluttering Before 2010
My five year old niece is starting to outgrow her Kiddie-Ups Carousel Rocking Horse. She used to enjoy this a lot and would spend most of her time playing on this. She would even eat her food while she sat on it. But as she is growing up, she’s already setting her sights on other interests.
My niece and his parents (my brother and his wife) are temporarily staying with us while they are getting their house renovated. You cannot believe how much a tiny little person, such as this five year old, can take so much space. I am pretty sure that before they leave for their new house in late January, we will have to do some clean up and de-cluttering. I think the horse will be the first to go at the garage sale. It’s a lovely piece that’s hard to part with, I know. But with no more babies in the house, it’s better off with some other young child who will be able to enjoy it.
I also think that it might be a great idea to start de-cluttering now though, and welcome the following year with less. I think I would definitely suggest doing this with my family and extended family. It might be fun to do together to commemorate the end of the decade.
