When Is Baby Ready For Toilet Training?
I was fairly surprised when I learned a friend’s daughter, who was barely two and a half years old, has stopped wearing diapers. She is essentially toilet-trained, her mother proudly tells us, and is always so eager to sit on this set, Her Majesty’s Throne, whenever she feels the need to go. Now, that to me is a great idea! It really motivates the child to properly use the toilet at an early age.
Toilet training is a hurdle for some parents and there is no quick solution for it. Patience is required a whole great deal.
The best way to start with it is not going to be determined by the babies age. That’s one thing new parents have to learn. The best way to start is when the baby is ready. And you will know this when the child starts getting curious. Is he starting to follow you to the bathroom wondering what you do there? When this happens, take this as a cue to encourage your child about the proper way to use the toilet. He should begin asking questions and you will soon notice more drier diapers, eventually.
Parents must take note that this is a process and not a one or two time even the child must get used to.
