Potty Training Requires a Big Deal of Patience

Toilet training my three year old nephew is becoming a lot easier because his parents got him this really cute His Majesty’s Throne potty. He now enjoys seating on it even if he isn’t about to go. It’s probably because the chair looks very fancy.

Potty training toddlers may sound like a difficult thing to do. Personally, I didn’t have such a challenge with my own kids. My first born actually learned to  use the toilet very early on. He was out on diapers by two years old.

But, if you’re a parent who is finding that this is such a tedious struggle, the thing to remember though is to never force your child to do it, if he doesn’t want to. Some kids take a longer time to be prepared than others. If your son or daughter show signs of unpreparedness, then this is something you shouldn’t worry over.

Potty training normally takes place when the child is between 22 to 30 months…so there is no need to hurry this phase up. And more than the physical preparedness, parents must also know that the child must be emotionally ready, too. This way, you don’t meet any resistance from a child whose favorite word may be “No”.

Have patience, parents! Take a look as these tips to a more successful potty training technique.
