The Devastating News
Recently, I received a phone call bearing some bad news about my friend. Her mother told me that she’s been diagnosed with cervical cancer. I was in total shock when I heard this. It was only three months ago that I presented her a wild animals toddler bedset, for when they were going to have their first child. They got married about a year ago and I know how excited they were about having their own child. They even already put up and decorated a separate child’s room for their future kid. Now, this horrible news comes in.
This is a devastating blow for them as a couple as well as for her family and friends, since we all know how excited they were to have their first child. Ever since the months after marriage, they have been following a strict plan on how she can get pregnant. Knowing the ups and downs of motherhood myself, it’s often tough when something like this happens to an eager couple. I haven’t spoken to my friend yet, will be dropping by her place this week to try and cheer her up. Hopefully, she will be fine in the long run and I hope she can get through this tough obstacle in front of her.
