When Parents Bully their Children

When I first read this concept in a blog, I immediately thought, “How can that be?” Mothers or parents in general, are supposed to love their children, how can they end up bullying them instead? When I read on, I realized that in certain cases, mothers particularly do sometimes bully their own child, whether they mean it or not. It does happen, much in the same way my 10 year old might bully his 7 year old brother over a firefighter table & 2 stool set. It can be quite troubling, no doubt.

However, for mothers to act downright immature and to actually instigate their child’s misery is a whole new ballgame. Although punishment is necessary, it should come to a point where you’re just purely blaming your child for things that might not be in his or her control. I understand that parenting is not an easy job and in fact, it can be quite stressful on any individual. However, in the end, you are still the parent and it’s still your job to help your child grow. Above all, it is also your duty to protect them and not to hurt them or cause them pain. The world does that enough that they shouldn’t be encountering those things from their own parents. I just hope mothers out there were a little considerate.
