The Problematic Boots
Because of the slow thaw, I’ve still kept most of my winter clothes with me. I have my boots and every single parka we have hanging in our closet. I make sure that my kids have them too, the problem was that my little girl went ballistic on us when she found out that her favorite boots were hopelessly mangled by our new dog, Hero. It wasn’t just that, her other favorite, her flowerland plush pillow, was also hopelessly chewed on. I think it took her the entire day to start feeling better again. Well, pretty much after I promised to get her a new pair of boots and serve her up with a hearty bowl of ice cream.
Hence, we’ll be heading out to look for the perfect boots for my little girl this weekend. Although I already found some online, I think she wouldn’t want to have to wait for too long to get them. Hence, its better to just march into a store, look for something that she’ll adore and just buy it. Even though the bargains can be good online, it’s still better to just buy them offline especially if you have a little girl that’s ready to give a tantrum if you don’t come home with her new shoes. I just hope that we’ll find something that she’ll love. She still refuses to throw away the good shoe and keeps it at her shoe rack. Oh my, this will be harder than I thought.
