Enjoying Your Kids’ Slumber Party
A friend of mine recently hosted a slumber party at her home. Her daughter had her eight year old friends over and it had been pretty remarkable. Days before that she helped her mom prepare for this party, cleaned her bedroom and even went as far as choosing her Beautiful Dragonflies Queen Sheet Set to go with the theme.
The daughter had four of her closest friends over and including her, there were five girls to entertain. Being young and thus, easily bored, my friend was able to host this really well with flying colors. She even had a good time amongst the eight and nine year olds.
First off, she made the kids meals they would truly love to eat like spaghetti and fried chicken. Then she each gave the girls a set of their bathroom essentials, which they did love. It had tiny bottles of lotions and shampoos, which you usually get for free at sample sales.
Then she came prepared with two types of kids movies. But then the kids didn’t want to play so she came up with crafting activity. The girls made beaded accessories and got to keep what they made for themselves. By almost 10 pm, the girls were ready to retire to bed.
It as an easy party to host and she was certain they all had a memorable and fun night.
