Moving Back into the Manor

As adults, life can often be tough. We not always make the most perfect decisions and sometimes, it means that we have to look back and go back to our roots, literally. The other day, I found out that cousin Jake (32) recently moved back into my Aunt’s home. At first, I thought that something was wrong since he was always the independent one, jumping from one continent to another, living in LA to PA. But then, I found out that he was struggling to go find a good job. He made bad decisions especially when it came to his home and had to sacrifice the mortgage. Now, he’s trying to pull his life together and make better decisions. He dropped by our home to give his kids all star sports table & 4 stool set, since his kids no longer live with him.

He was always a very generous person, so I know that it’s a big blow for him to be moving back into the family estate after his success. However, he’s doing what he can to work things out. Although my other aunts and uncles understand his situation, they are careful not to make him feel that they are looking down on him because they are not. It takes a lot of guts to admit that you need help and my cousin is no exception. I actually admire him for that.
