The Good Effects of the Recession
Now, generally, the whole slump in the economy isn’t very helpful. In fact, many families and parents are now struggling to make sure that they are capable of providing for their family’s needs. This is tough especially with the low employment rate that’s happening. However, if there’s one good benefit from this recession, it would have to be the fact that some families are actually considering postponing their divorce because of the economic problems. I recently visited my friend to give her daughter a royal rocker “princess” rocking chair, since my girl doesn’t want it anymore. Although I know that she is getting a divorce, she told me that they are holding it off until they have enough money to actually push through with the filing and stuff.
The good thing is that she and her husband both agreed on it, so there’s no problem. There is no doubt that divorce proceedings are very expensive and it will cost an arm and a leg especially in today’s economic problems. Although sometimes I feel that the kids always end up losing, I think that the parents deserve to be happy as well. So I guess, there is still something good that comes out of this whole recession after all.
