Twin Kids Are Twice The Fun and Twice The Effort at Parenting
I’ve twin goddaughters who are celebrating their birthday next month. But unlike other twins that are usually dressed alike or have the same things in two different colors, this set of twins is far from having similar likes and dislikes. In fact, they don’t look like twins at all. Being a fraternal set, they really are so set apart. They don’t even have the same height and body type physically. And their tastes are so different from one another.
That’s why when I am giving them gifts, I literally have to find items for two different people. This year, I’m giving one of them a My Rainbow Twin Quilt with Pillow Sham and the other, a pair of funky flip flops because that’s what they asked for. See? Their different as night and day.
Handling twins is probably a handful, and as their parents would attest, it really is twice the challenge. Their parents tell me, their character is so very distinct from each other, but that makes them even more fascinating. They share the same egg, the same womb for nine months and they come out as two different people. How amazing is that?
Are you a parent of twin kids? What are they like? How different or similar are they from one another?
