Little Girls and Dolls
My daughter likes sleeping with all her dolls on the bed. She would line them all up on her Princess Twin Sheet Set, so very neatly and orderly. This behavior does not surprise me one bit because I was exactly like that as a child. I only had about seven dolls then so it was easier to put them all together and have them sleep beside me.
But my daughter has a lot more dolls than I did as a child, and sometimes, they take up all the space of her bed that she sleeps in the wrong position. Most of the time, we convince her to stop doing this or maybe just select among her favorites but she wouldn’t have it any other way.
Many girls are so fond of dolls. These days, you can actually get several different kinds. Do you know there’s even a doll that pees and cries like an actual child? My daughter has one, and yes she brings this to bed with her, too. One time, the doll acted up and peed and cried all over the bed (it works based on movement) that it actually woke my daughter up in the middle of the night. I found that amusing for she actually had a taste of what’s it like to take care of the baby. But at the same time, it was just all so wrong.
I still can’t get to convince her to stop bringing her dolls to bed.
