Working From Home

Most people like to think that working from home is probably the most ideal setup for mothers since they would be able to spend plenty of time with their children. Although I used to think this as well, now, I’m not so sure. It’s true, I do get to be at home with my children all day, but I hardly spend time with them. Moreover, it’s not just the quality time that I can’t spend with them, I also can’t do my work properly. It’s hard to concentrate when your 7 year old decides it’s fun to keep his prince bench seat w/ storage playing all the time.

Although home based moms get to see their children more, they also have less time to do their work or sometimes, they don’t actually get to hang out with their child at all. Them taking care of their children also means that there are only set hours that they can play with them. There really isn’t much any difference when working home, especially if this is a full time event for the mother. There are also other factors that affect the relationship between mothers and their children. It could be the computer, the cellphone or other types of electronic gadget.
