Encouraging Healthy Food to Your Kids
Recently, I got my daughter a personalized her royal highness kid’s room sign. She loved it very much. However, there was one thing that I really wanted to address with my children. I already had this talk with the boys so now it was my little girl’s turn. I wanted to talk to them about eating much healthier. I’ve already mildly changed the menu that our family has for every meal. They’ve noticed the difference but no one really voiced out any major complains as of yet, although I’m betting that it will happen some time soon. Hence, I wanted to deal the situation before anything else.
Our nutritionist suggested that I start serving up healthier meals for the children. Even if I am a vegetable lover myself, there are times when I do gorge on junk once in awhile. The nutritionist asked me to go ahead and help my kids learn to love healthy foods and lessen the junk food that they eat. Of course, it all has to do with the foods that I serve during their meal times. When I tried explaining it to my daughter, of course, she had tons of rebuttals about how she hates certain types of vegetables so I needed to be armed and ready for the fight. Eventually, we compromised and asked her to simply try it out and we’ll work something out. She agreed. Hopefully everything does go well.
