Office Babysitting
Okay, now most parents prefer to leave their children at a day care facility whenever they head off for work. Sometimes this day care facility often involves grandma or grandpa. However, there are also mother or parents who sometimes bring their children to work with them. For some bosses this might be A-okay, but for others, it simply doesn’t go too well. My friend has this dilemma one time when her day care facility had to close down for an entire week because of an emergency with the owner. Since her mom was out of state, she asked permission from her boss to bring her 7 year old to work just for that week. So she packed her son’s safari jungle valance and all other necessities and headed to her workplace. She was expecting hell and the first few days were rough, but later on her kid had managed to adjust and learned how fun it can be stapling papers together.
Although some find it difficult to concentrate with their work, having to watch their kid and work at the same time, there are also others that manage to balance it out. Moreover, there are also bosses that are more open to the idea of having children exposed to their parent’s work.
