How Important Are Grandparents?
Many parents are now struggling to reconcile the fact that having children get to know their grandparents is important. Oftentimes, children look for their grandparents especially if they see their friends visiting their grannies and grandads. My friend, Sheila, had to look for a way to explain everything to her 5 year old daughter when she asked about seeing her grandparents one time while she was tucking her inside her mermaids toddler bedset. You see, my friend isn’t exactly in good terms with her folks and she’s not really pleased about seeing them. However, they have been trying to get in touch with their daughter and granddaughter. In fact, they even sent a letter expressing intent to have visitation rights with their niece.
Of course, relationships are complicated. Hence, my friend is really struggling to decide and come up with a solution to the problem. She, of course, just wants the best for her daughter and she really doesn’t want to go ahead and have it reach court since it would be so troublesome as well as expensive. Although she hasn’t decided yet, she might reconsider but her personal wounds matters as well. I just hope she manages to figure things out sooner than later.
