Getting In Touch the Wireless Way

The other day, my friend was telling me about how her daughter called from college because she was homesick and that she really wanted to go home. She found it really amazing since her daughter was very excited to leave her home. Initially, she was  a cute little kid who took her colorful sea pillow almost everywhere she went. Now, shes worrying about her classes and living far away from home. Of course, this doesn’t stop her from being a kid. She still calls a lot to tell her mom how much she misses them and wants to be able to go home and visit.

Thanks to technology, in more ways than one children can still keep in touch with their parents without any problem. There are cellphones, internet messaging, and emails to help make up for the distance in miles. Mothers can also act as mothers at times and check up on how their children are doing, making sure that they are eating healthy or that their laundry is getting done on time and not just lying on their bedroom floor. These so called “wireless umbilical cords” are perfect for strengthening and maintaining the bond between parent and child.
