Parenting a Young Adventurer
Most parents know that parenting is a full time job. It requires watching over your young one until he is old enough to fend for himself. However, how do you deal with a child if he is extremely adventurous. For instance, one moment he could be playing with his game on plush pillow and the next he want to go ahead and conquer Mount Everest? There’s no denying that we are bombarded with extremely talented and adventurous children. If you look at the news, you’ll hear of a 13 year old conquering Mount Everest, on another news, a 16 year old manages to sail all across the globe by herself!
These are things that even some adults dream their entire lives doing, but here are young people going out there and doing these exact same things. I think kids like these get influenced by those around them. They become motivated and eager to try out new things especially if they have been exposed to such instances when they were fairly younger. Parents of children who are naturally adventurous can help their child by being supportive. As long as it doesn’t directly endanger the child or anything that will cause him or her any pain, then I think it’s worth exhorting them to do it.
