When a Parent Has No Love for a Child
Parents are always expected to love their children. However, what happens if a parent ends up not having any loving feelings towards his or her son? There are times when it won’t matter if you buy your child that expensive princess jewelry cabinet; he or she will often feel that they are not nearly loved as the first or second child. Mothers also express this hesitation themselves. There are times, whether the reason might be biological or not, when parents fall out of love for their children. Children, young as they are, can often sense this. Most of the time, the arrival of a younger child or a new baby can trigger this.
Although it’s often difficult to think that a parent would end up not loving her child simply because he or she has a new baby, it is a fact that happens. There are times when mothers distance themselves from their firstborn and instead prefer, whether consciously or unconsciously spend more time with the newborn. This causes the child to act up in order to get attention. However, for parents, when this does happen, admit it to yourself and try to talk to your child. Being a parent does not just go away simply because you feel that you have less love for your other child. Being a parent is a responsibility and as an adult, you are responsible for your choices and actions.
