Seeing Your Kid Growing Up
For parents, time always seems to fly so fast. One minute your little girl is drying to have that personalized glitz and glamour kid’s rooms sign and the next all they want is makeup and lipstick. Although I’m glad to say that I’m not dealing with a teen just yet. Well, I have a pre-teen but we like to think that he won’t grow into a full blown teen in the next 10 years or so. (That’s what we’re hoping at least.) Of course, these wonder years won’t exactly last as long as we would want to but it still feels good nonetheless to see our children grow up right in front of us.
There are times when the growth of our children would just seem to happen overnight. Next day they wake up, they are not the same person as they used to be. Seeing your children grow right in front of your eyes can be a bit troubling for some parents since they are afraid that they won’t know how to deal with their child. However, kids have their own sense of right and wrong apart from the ones that parents teach them. They will form their own ideas and in the end will make decisions by themselves. It is important to always think about this so that you would be able to guide you child accordingly.
