Spending More for Your Child Than College
Although most of us parents adore our children and would give anything and everything possible to make them happy, we might sometimes take it a little bit too far. Most parents don’t realize that they are actually spending a lot more on their young child than when they reach college. It’s often the little things that we don’t notice like that tea party personalized meal time plate set you got them or that special swarovski crystal lined headband. There’s nothing wrong with giving your child no less than the best of things, but there has to be a limit to the amount of money you spend on your child especially when it comes to just getting frivolous things.
For example, if you feel that your child is too young to play video games then don’t buy them a PSP. These things cost money and worse, they are not exactly great for your child especially when they get hooked at such a young age. It would be ideal to carefully think about what you want to get for your child and consider the effects that it would have on him or her in the long run. Moreover, calculate the amount of money you have to spend and always think about your budget so that you can avoid overspending.
