New Children On the Way
Couples today are becoming concerned with the number of children they have. Most couples are satisfied with just having one or two children, any more than that and they feel that it’s simply too much. Although there are couples that would love to have a huge family, practical couples of today consider the cost of child rearing or having children. Sure, it might be fun to have a huge Olivia pink pillow fight with your siblings but parents are holding back for economical reasons. This might sound weird, but it’s actually a common thought for a lot of couples today.
Couples often are unsure about having a second child especially considering everything that’s happening today. Parents would rather opt to focus on one child and give him or her the basic things that he or she needs rather than worry about more than one child. Of course, this doesn’t mean that there are no couples who want to have more children. I know, think The Duggar’s or Kate Gosselin and her eight kids. There’s nothing wrong with having a big family but sometimes, it can be too much for certain couples. The important thing is to make sure that the couple has enough to actually provide for their children and their specific needs. Some parents feel out of control when they actually bring a new child home. They feel that the responsibility is too much especially if they are also just starting out as a married couple.
