Can You Trust Your Day Care Center?
There’s no denying the fact that many parents these days have to work hard to support their children. It’s not unusual for families to have both parents working full time and then simply leaving the child at a day care facility until they are picked up. Now, even though this setup can be jarring, there’s no denying the fact that this is all too common. The only time that most working parents would get to hang out with their young child would be during weekends and of course going into bed, as they get tucked into their Annas ruffle purple twin quilt with pillow sham. This might have been extremely unusual back then, but this has become quite the norm today.
As parents leave themselves in daycare, they often think that everything will be okay. They try not to worry about how it affects their child emotionally as they grow older. Of course, tons of parents are cautious as well. With allegations and incidences of sexual abuse happening to children in places that are supposed to be “safe” like daycare centers, it’s really difficult to be complacent. Statistics say that one in every four little girls are sexually abused while it’s one in every six for the boys. This is troubling especially for children who don’t know any better yet, except to trust what a grown up tells them.
