Being A Woman

Being a mother means a lot. On the one hand, it can be the most rewarding experience in the world but on the other hand, it can also be full of frustrations, moments of anger and resentment and sometimes, resignation. Even though we like to think that women are given the same treatment, label, status as those of their male counterparts. It’s undeniable that in some tucked away corner of the modern world, there are still areas where women are considered second best. Typically, mothers are thought to be good for everything. They take care of the children, play with them on the time to read bench seat w/storage or simply provide for all their needs. There are times and instances when these roles are reversed, society still looks at this as the “typical” and sometimes “right” way.

Although people are entitled to their opinion on this subject. It’s undeniable that there are still plenty of women who suffer from this double standard and stigma of being a “woman.” From literature, to parenting or to everyday work, a lot of society still holds this thought process in their head. It’s a fact. I’m not sure if it’ll go away in the end or simply continue to remain hidden and swept under the rug.
