Are First Pregnancies Really the Best?
Although a lot of mothers would often argue with the notion, there are also plenty of women who would admit that their first pregnancies were often the best. For them, it was the most eye-opening experience they have ever had and compared to the other pregnancies even probably the most emotional. It’s not just that, people often treat first time mothers differently, according to one observer. Mostly everyone pampered her and made her feel like all she has to do is wave her fingers and all her minions will come running to serve her. The excitement is also different. Pretty much, first time parents often go hoarding from those flowers for hanna shaped pillow or those cute little baby toys they see on the shelf. Anything and everything that’s about the baby often gets bought.
Of course, for second pregnancies, the excitement is still there but people are often less fuzzy about it since they already know what to expect. They are less troubled and anxious about what’s up ahead since they know exactly what to expect. Shopping for the baby is also not as flurried as before since there would be hand me downs from the first child. Personally, I do feel as if my first pregnancy was different than the succeeding ones. All three were special in their own way of course, just like my children are but there’s no doubt that there was an air of anxiety and excitement with my first born,
