Handing an iPhone to a Child
Parents know how tough it is to actually make a child sit still while mommy or daddy is doing something important. It could be at a restaurant meeting a friend or maybe sneaking in work at a crucial time. This whole thing can actually be quite tricky. If toys like their firefighter revolving bookcase won’t do it, there is normally one thing that helps to at least keep a child’s attention, the iPhone. Now, I know what you’re thinking, a $200++ iPhone in the hands of a 3 year old isn’t exactly comforting, but trust me, it does help a lot when catching ac child’s attention. There are actually plenty of apps that are labeled as “educational” for young children to be able to use while mommy is trying to get some work done.
Children are often fascinated by gadgets. Anything that shows up with colors and fun graphics would often catch their attention and keep them still and quiet until they’ve gotten bored from it, which is usually a long time. Although some parents might think twice about handing something as expensive as an iPhone to a young child who can barely hold a glass cup in his or her hands, then maybe you can get a similar gadget with fun features fit for a child. Children often like to imitate grown-ups and this includes doing things that you do with your phone. If they see you texting, they might want to pretend to also be texting someone or simply being busy with their own little gadget. Surprising, an iPhone works great in keeping your child still for a good long time.
