Will Your Lose Weight When You Breast Feed?

This month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, hence, it’s not really surprising to get studies or news about the many benefits of breast feeding. Breastfeeding does in fact have a lot of benefits. When my cousin got pregnant with her daughter, she asked me her fears and hesitations about breastfeeding when I helped her pick her fairy princess garden full sheet set. She told me that she didn’t like the idea of breastfeeding her child since she feels that it would be too much work or that it would hurt. Although she’s still not fully convinced about the good side of breastfeeding, she is slowly considering it after I presented her with several advantages.

For instance, of course, breastfeeding helps to prevent cancer cells from developing. Or at least it minimizes the possibility of women having this disease. On the other hand, breastfeeding a child also means that there’s a possibility you could be boosting your child’s IQ. It also helps increase a woman’s immune system as well. Another great thing about this is that breastfeeding actually helps to curb down the risk of having obesity. This is ideal for new mothers who feel that they might get too big if they don’t watch their weight later on. As you can see, breastfeeding has plenty of benefits, both for the child and mother. Hence, any new mother should at least consider the thought of breastfeeding their child compared to weaning them over regular milk. It’s important to know your reasons for doing so and why.
