Going to the Potty in Public
Children nowadays are often considered lucky by most people. They get to have all these modern gadgets to help them learn as they grow up. Of course, when it comes to parents, they have the biggest role of all. There’s no denying the fact that every time a child does something unusual or inappropriate than what’s considered to be “normal,” it’s often the parents that are first blamed. Whether it’s a child messing up another kid’s colorful sea twin bed skirt or maybe just children urinating in public, it is the parent’s that are often asked or pointed first as a result of this behavior.
Many parents know that urinating in public is beyond acceptable social behavior. Of course, it’s a different case when there’s definitely no bathroom in sight. If this is the case, most parents know better than to tell their children to hold it in especially if they can no longer do so. But what about being in a public park or playground? I have seen children peeing in parks before and parents actually assisting their children yet not making an effort to head for the nearest portable potty. I think parents should be a bit more responsible when it comes to this scenario. I know that it’s impossible to be near a toilet each and every time your child might want to go potty, but I think it is best not to encourage them to pee everywhere especially if the potty is actually reachable.
