Discriminating Because of Gender
Let’s face it. Any parent who has young children has struggled to find a suitable babysitter for their child at some point. There are simply too many preconceived notions as well as personal biases that play a part in the decision making process. Regardless of how well they promise to take care of your child and tuck them into their Beautiful Dragonflies Pillow; parents cannot help to feel uneasy about their personal notions. Whether it’s hiring someone who specifies that they would only work with a boy as opposed to a girl child, or maybe hiring someone who is new in town and doesn’t have that many references to offer. All these things affect how parents decide on who gets to take care of their children while they are away.
If you are a parent and you find yourself in this dilemma, don’t fret, you are not the only one. It’s a fact that society creates all these unnecessary prejudices against people for something that their group has been identified for. It’s hard to get out of the system and sometimes, you just have to keep fighting and making sure that it won’t get the best of you. Hopefully, parents can make better decisions. One that involves their brain more than their emotions.
