Breastfed Boys more Smarter than Boys who took Formula Milk

Breastfeeding has many benefits for the infant. In this article we can see that the author have made studies regarding boys who were breastfed for the first six months when infant. They were smarter compared to boys who were not breastfed. So, what’s so important with breastfeeding an infant for the first six months? Breastfeeding contains necessary nutrients in proper quality and quantity. It has anti-infective properties which is called the colostrum. Colostrum contains plenty of antibodies 2-4 days postpartum. Sounds good, since a child is still new to the world and adjusts its little body to the world that has many potential virus and bacteria to attack the infant’s body. Aside from that it gives the infant more protein, more salt, more vitamins, more immune bodies, less fat and sugar than mature milk, high lactose, antibodies to E. coli, large amount of lactoferrin that binds iron, lysozyme, anti-staphylococcus factor, secretory IgA and cellular components for immunological protection. And most of all it is safe, always at the right temperature, convenient, no pathogenic organism and always available. It also offers benefits for the mother. It fosters mother and child bonding and when a mother is breastfeeding she cannot get pregnant. This is because of the hormones in the body adjusts to the need of the mammary gland thus the chance of getting pregnant is negative. If you’re pregnant today, plan breastfeeding your baby for 6 months and up to 1 year of age. You’ll be amazed when your child grows smarter and sturdier and healthier. What do you think?
