Asparagus unlike any other vegetables contains loads of folate that is very beneficial for pregnant mothers. Folate is essential for pre conception and early stages of pregnancy. This mineral reduces the risk of pregnant mothers from having birth defects and helps the nervous system develop beautifully, it is also great for nursing mothers by stimulating milk production. Aside from this it is also good for the children most especially to those who have cancer because by eating asparagus daily it triggers our body to produce Glutathione, it is an antioxidant. That is found in our body that is important in fighting against diseases like Cancer and Alzheimer’s. Although asparagus do not contain Glutathione but they assist our body by producing it. So this vegetable is definitely good and highly recommended for pregnant mothers out there as well as for their children.
