What is Tourettes?
I’m quite a fan of American Idol and hearing about James Durbin’s condition extremely made me more adore him. James Durbin has Tourettes. Tourettes is an inherited neuropsychiatric disorder with onset in childhood, characterized by multiple physical (motor) tics and at least one vocal (phonic) tic; these tics characteristically wax and wane according to Wikipedia. A tic is when your child makes sudden, fast movements or sounds that he cannot control. It is believe that this is a bizarre condition since the child will make sudden movement beyond his control. Taking care of child with this condition is somewhat challenging. Parents of a tourrete child should help their child mange their stress such as exercising deep breathing, muscle relaxation and meditation. They say that tourettes diminished when they grow up, which means that when the child grows up there are lesser tics that he can experience. Do you know someone who has tourettes?
